It has been a pretty crazy week. B has less than a week until the Bar and it has been pretty stressful. I basically come home from work and just try to make sure everything is perfect.
I can’t wait until he is done, I am taking a few days off of work and we are going to be doing some fun things around Ohio for more of a staycation.
On the workout front I have been having a pretty solid week of running. The temps dropped a bit yesterday so I got in a great 4 mile loop around one of our neighborhoods and ended with a tough ‘crossfit type’ workout. More on this later…
I have been having some mild foot pain this week on my left foot. So I have been doing the following to help 1. Icing after running 2. Stretching before and after a run 3. Wearing good shoes and not going barefoot or wearing unsupportive shoes.
Let’s just cross our fingers it is nothing too major!
Work has been pretty great. I have been learning a bunch of new things and have really been contributing to my new role as manager. I really love what I do and I truly feel you need to do what you love because you only have one life to live! Although I work a lot I don’t feel like it is work, I love the people I work with and we have formed some great friendships. For this part of my life I am pretty happy and can’t wait to see where this job will take me!
I am really looking forward to this weekend for a few reasons. 1. I am going home on Saturday to do some car shopping 2. I am going to a huge auction with my mom and hopefully finding some new items for our new place. 3. We are having another crab bake at my parents after the busy day!
