Hi!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I think when we last talked I was telling you about my fun but relaxing weekend the week prior, this week was pretty much the same, no complaining here!
I had Friday off so I decided to take the day to get somethings done on my to-do list.
One of those to-do items included garage sale shopping! I have this knack for finding things at sales and fixing them up to suit our style a little more. I was not overly successful in my finds; but I did find one item which I am very proud of!
I found this old white tray and immediately thought, I could redo this in an afternoon! A 1/2 a pint of black paint and some sanding later and I had my black tray! All for under $10! {This included tray, paint and brush!}
Next up was the lining of the tray. I looked at using tile, found it to be a little too heavy so I thought wallpaper. I guess I didn’t realize how out of date wallpaper is because no one has it anymore! haha
My mom mentioned card stock so I made my way over to Hobby Lobby and picked up a few pieces I liked and ended up choosing the one shown below! I laid a piece of glass over the top and ta-da! A new tray for our coffee table! All in all this was a really simple and inexpensive project I would say it was less than $!5!
That was one of the highlights of my weekend, next up my mom and I went to a huge flea market on Saturday morning and once again I found some great finds!
Today’s task is to figure out what to do with this! —>>>
Have a great rest of your day and see you tomorrow for a really yummy dish B and I had over the weekend!
