Italian Style Turkey Meatballs {GF & DF}

Good Morning!

I hope you all had a great Monday! In between an easy run, running to the grocery store and working all night I was pretty whipped out once I got home!

B and I once again watched the Olympics {#obsessed}. Watching them together and cheering on Team U.S.A is so much fun and it makes me look forward to 8 pm!

You might have noticed I went from a .wordpress.com to positivelyhealthylifestyle.com and I changed up the name as well, Positively Healthy: Living a Healthy Life, One Positive Change at a Time.

I thought it was time to go to my own domain, I had been toying with some names for the past fews weeks and I finally came up with one last night! I hope you like it as well!

Make sure to follow me on Bloglovin‘ now that I have a new home!

*I also added a new page, Top Posts! Make sure to check it out if you are new to the blog!*

One of the positive changes I made this past weekend were these amazing Italian Style Turkey Meatballs! I made them for our Valentine’s Day dinner and they are sure to become a staple in our house. I got the original idea from Lexi’s Clean Kitchen {Paleo Meatball Subs}.

Italian Style Turkey Meatballs {GF & DF}

  • 1 lb organic ground turkey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp crushed garlic
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp almond meal
  1. Set the oven to 350
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl {I ended up mixing the mixture with my hands! Fun times in the Beil kitchen!}
  3. Roll the mixture into about 1 inch balls and place on a greased baking pan
  4. Cook for 15-18 minutes, until the meat is cooked through to 165 degrees

I made these in the morning and popped them in the refrigerator until we were ready to eat. Once we were ready to eat I added them to a pan of red pasta sauce and heated them up in the sauce. I served ours over GF pasta but next time we are making subs!

Recipe to come this week!

I hope you enjoy these as much as we did!

Your Turn!

Do you like vegetarian, beef, chicken or turkey meatballs?
