Recap of 12 Days of Togetherness!

I am sure you all read the blog Carrots N’ Cake, if not you should stop reading my blog and go check out her blog. It was one of the first blogs I started to read and I LOVE LOVE LOVE her style of writing, her relationship and her pug!

She is always coming up with some of the neatest things to do and one of them during December was the ‘24 Days of Togetherness’. For B and I 24 days is tough because he has finals and is basically spending the night at school for the first 12 days but after the 12 he is a free man! :).

So I kinda took her idea and decided to just do the 12 days of togetherness and end on the 24th of December instead! I didn’t take a picture of everything but I did try to take as many as I could!

Day 1: Walk around the Fraze (an outdoor amphitheater)

Day 2: Go to the Greene to see the large outdoor tree

Day 3: Dance to our wedding song (The Way you Look Tonight)

Day 4: Take a picture in front of our Christmas tree

Day 5: Watch a Christmas movie

Day 6: Share 3 things you love about the other person

Day 7: Listen to each others favorite Christmas songs (B: Have Yourself a Merry little Christmas Me: The Christmas Song)

Day 8: Bake GF chocolate chips

Day 9: Have a game night

Day 10: Drive around and look at Christmas lights

Day 11: Piece together the Christmas puzzle

Day 12: Go buy our “first Christmas” ornament

We had so much fun doing this together and always looked forward to the morning when one of us would pick the task that we were doing. Can’t wait to do it again this year!!

Your Turn

What is your favorite holiday tradition?

Anyone buy a new Christmas ornament this year?
