How is your day going so far?

Mine has been great! I have had the morning off and was able to get a load of stuff done, including a great workout!

Workout: Friday

4 mile progressive run (8:57, 8:41, 8:30, 8:00)

Changing up the Closet


Purple is by far one of my favorite colors to wear. Combined with brown accents, I feel this outfit screams spring! You can never go wrong with skinny jeans and a flowing top!

Health Freak


Being in the nutrition field I feel that people tend to think that by eating veggies for a week they will get skinny. This is not the case as many of you know! It takes time and perseverance. Also remember by eating one “bad thing” will not derail you either. It is all about moderation and self-control!


Cooking= Therapy


So, how yummy do these look? It is a new twist on an old favorite. Typically I make peanut butter cookies with a dark chocolate kiss during christmas. But these cookies in the photo look great for Valentines Day, spring and summer! So the recipe is really easy and the cookie base is white cake batter mix, some red dye, and some chopped up candy cherries! EASY! Top with a dark chocolate Hershey Kiss!



One country that I always sort of forget about is Czech. I had a friend when I lived in Walt Disney World who was very connected with her heritage, she was Czech and always talked about how beautiful Prague was. When I saw this picture I immediately thought of her, and how beautiful the city looked with the sun setting. Who wants to join me to a trip to Prague! 🙂

Workin’ it Out 


This is from one of my favorite blogs, Carrots ‘N’ Cake. Over the past year or so she has really changed her workouts and has been doing a lot more lifting and less running. Even though I am still crazy for running, I love doing the workouts she posts. They are such a challenge and really give you a full-body workout every time.

Does anyone else think this before a race? I do. This is probably not healthy, but it is true! I get so nervous about my time, and put so much pressure on myself. This pin when I first read it, made me laugh out loud, then I realized, crap! I do this!! So this pin is to let me know that, Yes my time will be posted on the internet forever, but it is my time, no one else can say anything.
