BBQ Chicken

Good Sunday Afternoon!

So far this weekend has been wonderful ! A great workout, some sister time and just relaxing with B!

Todays weather is really overcast and slightly chilly; obviously a lot better than the east coast! Be safe east coast friends! So of course that calls for a Crockpot meal! This is a great meal for during the week as well, and it is very nutritious!

I use to think that using a Crockpot was the easy way out, but let me tell you, it makes chicken or any other type of meat so much more moist and flavorful.

On to the recipe!

BBQ Chicken

2 lbs frozen chicken breasts (about 5 pieces)

1.5 cups of your favorite BBQ sauce (we use Montgomery Inn)

Place everything in the Crockpot set on low for 8 hours.

I’m not kidding you it is that easy. Bruce and I usually eat the chicken with a side of green beans and a baked potato.

Like I said, this meal is super easy and a great meal to make on a lazy afternoon or during the week when cooking a full meal is not always possible!

B is studying at the library all day, so I’m off to Starbucks to get some work done and finish reading my book!

Have a great day!

What is your favorite type of Crockpot meal to make?

Are you reading a book right now?
